Gallery Interior

One of the newest additions to the dynamic, downtown Beaufort art scene is the BAA Gallery, dedicated to showcasing the delightfully diverse talents of a region rich in artists and artisans.

The BAA Gallery, founded in the spring of 2002, displays the works of Beaufort Art Association members. For sale to the public are original oils, watercolors, pastels and mixed media, as well as prints, photography, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, notecards and other decorative arts. Featured artist and general exhibits are changed every six weeks.

The gallery's dynamic interior design rivals that of much larger galleries with aesthetically placed lighting and an open floor plan. Works include a wide range of pricing which allows art lovers to acquire pleasing and affordable objects of art.

An important part of Beaufort's cultural life since 1957, the BAA has always provided programs and exhibits to foster art enjoyment and education. Popular lecture series and workshops are offered to the public throughout the year. BAA membership is open to anyone with interest in the visual arts.
